Privacy Policy

ImpNotes is published by Mrutyunjay Studio ("we", "us"). This policy explains exactly what the app collects, why, where it is stored and how you remove it. We have tried to keep it specific rather than generic — if anything here is unclear, write to us and we will explain.

The short version. ImpNotes contains no adverts, no analytics SDK and no third-party trackers. We do not sell or share your personal data. You can use the app without an account, and you can delete your account and all of its data from inside the app at any time.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Mrutyunjay Studio is the data controller for the information described below. You can reach us at welldayreview@gmail.com.

What we do not collect

No advertising or marketing identifiers.
No analytics, crash-reporting or behavioural SDKs.
No location, contacts, camera, microphone, calendar or SMS data.
No files or photos from your device.
No payment information — the app is free and has no purchases.

3. Using ImpNotes without an account

Signing in is optional. If you do not sign in, your notes are written only to your device's local storage, nothing is transmitted to us, and no personal data is collected at all.

4. Where your data is stored

Notes always live on your device first. If you are signed in, a copy is also stored in Google Firebase Realtime Database, in Google's asia-southeast1 region, and in Firebase Authentication. Google acts as our processor and handles this data under its own security and privacy commitments; we do not store your data anywhere else.

Access is restricted at the database level: each account can read and write only its own notes, and requests without a valid signed-in session are rejected.

5. Who we share it with

Nobody, other than the infrastructure providers required to run the app (Google Firebase for authentication and storage, Google Sign-In for login). We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

We will disclose data only where we are legally required to do so, and only to the extent required.

6. How long we keep it

Notes and account data — kept until you delete them or delete your account.
Notes in Trash — kept until you empty the Trash, then removed.
After account deletion — removed from live systems immediately; residual copies in encrypted backups are overwritten within 30 days.

7. Your rights and choices

Access — every note we hold for you is visible in the app.
Correction — edit or delete any note at any time.
Deletion — remove your account and all associated data from Profile → Delete Account & Data. See how deletion works.
Withdraw consent — sign out to stop all syncing; continue using the app offline.
Complaint — write to us first, and we will work with you to resolve it.

8. Security

Traffic between the app and Firebase is encrypted in transit with TLS. Data at rest is encrypted by Google Cloud. Database rules restrict every record to the account that owns it. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to protect your device with a screen lock.

9. Children

ImpNotes is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you inside the app before the change takes effect.
